Ryan Cowles, founder and operator of Wingate Apothecary wanted an outlet for his ideas that didn't necessarily fit under the Wingate brand. Because We Candle is a fun, inclusive and eccentric candle brand under the Wingate umbrella with creative scents targeting the LGBTQ+ community. Because Ryan is a one-man-show and to keep his up front cost low, he wanted a design that could be mass produced and modified to illustrate the various scents.
